In addition to the programs and events that we sponsor and deliver, there are several other tangible benefits for our members:

VALUABLE BENEFITS:
Monetary Donations toward hockey activities result in Tax Donation Certificates to members as the donations may be tax deductible because the charity is a 501(c)3 nonprofit tax-exempt organization approved by the IRS and Texas Comptroller
Tax Exemption as the charity purchases items tax-free that are consumed during our charity programs and events
Certificates issued to members that their employers reimburse for workout activities such as gym or golf memberships

Charity Expenses
As we experienced, a non-profit charitable organization, much like running a business, incurs various expenses such as legal, administrative, filing/reporting, operational, technology, and formation/setup costs.
We encourage Annual Memberships to help defray the inevitable costs of running a business.
Annual Memberships enable our other fundraising to be fully spent on programs and activities that benefit our members and our community. The charity is managed and operated entirely by volunteers; as such, the charity does not pay any members or salaries for their volunteer work. Therefore, the Annual Memberships are applied to the overhead to pay our general and administrative expenses.
