Submit the GEAR SALE FORM by December 12, 2025.

Discounts: Equipment purchases generally get a significant discount. You get to see the substantial savings before committing to any purchase. Discounts apply to nearly all Ice Hockey, Roller, and Inline items including big-ticket items -- sticks and skates -- but also protective equipment, sizes (youth/junior/intermediate/adult), and clearance items.

To assist with orders, please visit sites such as HockeyMonkey or Pure Hockey to shop for items and determine sizes and accurate descriptions for each ordered product.

Ordering Information: We require info to process orders. For example, Skates require brand, product description, skate size, width, and specify whether adult or intermediate and whether goalie or skater (e.g. True Hzrdus 9X skate, size 8.0, regular width). For Sticks, kindly provide the brand, product description, hand (right or left), flex, curve, lie, etc (e.g. CCM Ribcor Trigger 9 Pro Senior Hockey Stick, Right, Flex 85, P29 Curve).

Ordering Process: We make best efforts to process and fulfill your order. We will provide you with the discounted price and verify whether you wish to place the order. Orders submitted by December 12, 2025 should be available the following week.

Substantial $avings: The following are examples of recent savings. TRUE skates (goalie and player) with discounts of >30%. CCM sticks with discounts of 20%. Discounts vary subject to timing and manufacturer. Furthermore, purchased items may also be exempt from sales tax.

A portion of the proceeds may benefit the Bags & Sticks nonprofit charity. Bags & Sticks is a 501(c)3 nonprofit tax-exempt organization that inspires older adults to engage in physical activities, fostering teamwork and social connections through organized ice hockey, travel tournaments, and social events. We graciously accept donations and contributions that enable our organization to offer enriching activities and events that promote an active lifestyle and that enhance social support systems.

FAQ

Q1. How do I order multiple items?

Please submit a Gear Sale Form entry for each item. For example, if ordering a hockey stick and a helmet then submit two forms - submit an order for the stick plus an order for the helmet.

If ordering multiple quantities of the same item then you may submit on a single Gear Sale Form and specify the quantity. A single form can be submitted only if the items are the same size and specifications (e.g. two hockey sticks of the same type, hand, flex, and curve may be submitted in one form, however, if one stick is 75 flex and the second stick is 85 flex then submit two forms).

Q2. When is my order finalized?

First, submit the Gear Sale Form. Upon receipt of your form, we will process it and will reply by email to inform you of your cost. During order processing you may modify, adjust, or cancel your items.

Upon your approval, we will prepare an invoice and fulfill your order when payment is received.

Q3. When will I know the cost?

You will know the cost generally within 2 days of receipt of your Gear Sale Form. The cost will be quoted to you via email to allow you to decide whether to proceed with placing an order. In summary, you are placing a quote when you submit the Gear Sale Form; and, you are placing an order when you approve the items at the quoted cost.

Q4. How do I pay for my items?

Once you approve the items for purchase, then we will send an invoice. You may pay by Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Payment instructions will be included in your invoice.

Q5. When do I pay for my items?

Payment is due upon your receipt of the invoice. Remember to pay your invoice by December 12, 2025 to participate in the sale.

Q6. When do I receive my items?

You should generally receive your items the week of December 22. Items are subject to availability and certain items may need to be backordered or require a few additional days. Please also allow additional days due to high volumes of shipping because of the holidays. We offer cancellations and accordingly a full refund for any items on backorder.

Q7. How do I receive my items?

When your order is fulfilled, we will contact and arrange to deliver or ship your items to you. This is a special holiday sale that we expect to deliver all items before January 2026.

Q8. Do I get charged for hidden fees such as shipping charges or payment processing?

No. We do not charge for shipping or processing. We do not charge or collect for sales taxes.

Q9. What types of equipment are available in the Gear Sale?

Hockey equipment for ice, roller, and inline hockey. Hockey equipment includes skates, sticks, goalie gear, pads (shoulder, shin, elbow), hockey pants, girdles, pant shells, gloves, helmets, shields, visors, neckguards, mouthguards, padded shirts, socks, hockey bags, apparel, and more. Certain practice jerseys and NHL team jerseys are available. Additionally, we may be able to provide baseball, softball, and lacrosse equipment.
